Give yourself credit. As a CAD designer, you are using your eyes, mind, body, time, and energy to operate one of the most complex technological tools out there. You’re often moving forward with incomplete information, constantly under time pressure, facing crazy deadlines, often working crazy hours, and always aware of the need to keep your hours low on projects to make the team’s productivity numbers look good.
In short, what you’re doing is not easy. It takes a certain type of person to be able to do CAD really well. Then that person must spend countless hours learning, growing, honing their craft, dealing with changing technology, and becoming proficient.
